Titles List

If your search results in more than one hit, the results are presented in a Titles List. This applies to many types of searches including title, keyword, and journal title.

You will see a two-line display. The first line includes the title, author, and publication date. The second line includes holdings information. If only one library owns a title, that location will show. In this case, the status of the item will also show. If more than one library owns the same title, the location information will read Title has multiple holdings, click to see the holding information.

If there are more than 25 records, you can use the previous and next arrows to navigate.

The default display is to list the items alphabetically by title. You can change the display by sorting your records. To do this, simply select your preference from the pull-down Sort by text box.

The choices are:

Title Alphabetically by the first word in the title
Author Alphabetically by the last name
Publish Date By publication date, older items first
Publish Date Descending By publication date, newer items first

To display the information about a title, simply click on the record.
